RIP Guru

Very sad news today as Guru, one of the greatest emcees of all-time and 1/2 of the legendary duo Gang Starr, lost his battle with cancer. Guru and DJ Premier were hip-hop at its finest, taking the baton from the likes of Eric B & Rakim in defining the 1 Emcee-1 DJ/Producer sound. There aren't many artists/groups with as consistent a catalog as that of the Brooklyn by way of Texas and Boston connection. There are so many dope Gang Starr songs that for now we present to you instead a track off of Guru's Jazzmatazz Vol 3:StreetSoul featuring Bilal and Jay Dee. A beautiful track for a sad day....RIP
